The substance abuse services that we provide: 

 

1. Assessments: Requested by family members, schools, employers, courts, and lawyers. This helps us understand their level of chemical dependence on mind-altering and intoxicating substances.

2. Zoom individual sessions and group sessions for AODA (alcohol or other Drug Abuse Treatment): We have a large menu of programs for persons affected by alcohol or drugs. These programs include detox centers, day treatment, inpatient/outpatient facilities, residential programs, and intervention/prevention programs.

3. Criminal thinking: We examine the reasons that the substance abuse patient may have committed criminal behavior and how they can redirect that to [lawful and positive behavior.  

4. Domestic violence: We identify the triggers, behaviors, create non-aggressive ways to handle triggers, learn and use specific skills for anger triggers, and practice logical and rational and behaviors to correct them so the spouse is safe from any further violence. 

5. Anger management: Learn strategies and behaviors to correct responses and behaviors stemming from triggers. 

6. Aftercare: Customized plans that take effect at the end of a residential or outpatient substance abuse treatment program. These programs are based on specific needs to help patients safely and successfully after addiction and addiction treatment. Relapse prevention: Recognize the steps of relapse. Know the triggers and learn to resist them. Learn how to ask for help and how to take care of yourself. 

7. Re-entry: Counselor-led programs assist the patient in returning to family, community, employment, and society. Thus, patients can successfully "reenter" society following their incarceration, reducing recidivism, improving public safety, and reducing costs.

8. Other mental health services as needed
